Textured paintings made in combinations of white vegetable fibers such as paper pulp, cotton and silk, with mineral particles such as marble or silica. Vegetable fibers obstruct the passage of light less than mineral particles, evidencing density as a decisive factor. It is also appreciated how vegetable fibers scatter light to a greater extent than mineral particles, which tend to condense light more. This last aspect is the subject of in-depth study.
